In the course catalogue JOGU-StINe you will soon find our course overview for the summer semester 2025.

We kindly ask you to consider carefully which course you would like to attend and to read thoroughly the course description, course times as well as prerequisites for participation.

Before registering for a German course, please check whether you meet the required prerequisites for participation:

• No prior knowledge: Choose the German course A1.1. No prior knowledge of German is required for the German course for absolute beginners.
  You do not need a certificate or a placement test for this course.
• Prior knowledge WITH a German language certificate: Please find the course suitable for you from the list of Approved language certificates
• Prior knowledge WITHOUT a German language certificate: If you have knowledge of the German language but do not hold any language certificate, please take the online placement test (free of charge).

The language certificate / result of the placement test is needed for the registration (see below).

Registration for the German courses takes place in JOGU-StiNe.

• You may only register for one German course per semester.
