Registration for the German courses

In the course catalogue JOGU-StINe you will find our German courses for the winter semester 2024/25.

We kindly ask you to consider carefully which course you would like to attend and to read thoroughly the course description, course times as well as prerequisites for participation.

Before registering for a German course, please check whether you meet the required prerequisites for participation:

• If you have no previous knowledge of German, please register for the beginners' course A1.1!
• If you have already acquired a German certificate:
  a) Please find the course suitable for you from the list of Approved language certificates
  b) If your German certificate is not included in the list of Approved language certificates, please take the online placement test (free of charge).
• If you have knowledge of the German language but do not hold any language certificate, please take the online placement test (free of charge).

The language certificate / result of the placement test is needed for the registration (see below).

Students:

JOGU-StINe - Login with your JGU-Account (Username & Password) - Studies - Modules/Courses - Registration - Module/Course registration - Additional qualifications - International Preparatory and Language Center - Deutsch als Fremdsprache....

• Please select your German course and register.
• After successful course registration in Jogustine, please upload your language certificate / result of the placement test to the Seafile folder here on this ISSK website (on the top on the right site).
• Please save the file for the Seafile folder (the name of the file should be your last name - e.g: Mustermann, Petra.pdf).
• Please note that you will not receive a confirmation email.

Employees:

JOGU-StINe - Login with your JGU-Account (Username & Password) - Staff Courses - Registration - International Preparatory and Language Center

• Please select your German course and register.
• After successful course registration in Jogustine, please upload your language certificate / result of the placement test to the Seafile folder here on this ISSK website (on the right site).
• Please save the file for the Seafile folder with your last name - e.g.: Mustermann, Petra.pdf.
• Please note that you will not receive a confirmation email.

IMPORTANT NOTE! Only one registration will be accepted; you may register for only one German course per semester. Multiple registrations will be deleted entirely (all registrations!). This means that no participation in a German course will be possible in the winter semester 2024/25.
